Job Description

The Manager, Business Value - EMEA & APAC will be responsible for building and leading a team focused on value strategy. This role requires a blend of customer-facing skills, strategy consulting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will work with customers to build business cases, engage with executives to assess strategic objectives, and partner with sales teams to develop creative account strategies. Responsibilities include developing financial models, creating presentations, and driving cross-functional initiatives. The candidate should have experience in building international teams and working with enterprise SaaS solutions. The role involves detailed financial analysis and the ability to educate non-financial roles on concepts such as ROI and TCO.
Must have:
  • Build international teams from scratch.
  • Experience in buying, selling, developing, or integrating enterprise SaaS solutions.
  • 10+ years of business value or management consulting experience.
  • Lead C-level discussions and present business cases.
  • Develop account strategies with field sales teams.
  • Create detailed Excel models and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Deep financial analysis and modeling skills.

Job Details

SailPoint is seeking a Manager, Value Strategy to build our team in EMEA and APAC.  Successful Value Strategists are the perfect blend of a customer-facing challenger, strategy consultant, and financial analyst.  We help our customers build their business cases.

Additional languages such as German, French, Spanish and Italian preferred.

Experience Required

  • Building Teams – Proven track record of building international teams from scratch

  • Software – Buying, selling, developing, using, acquiring, or integrating enterprise SaaS solutions (ideally in identity governance or access management)

  • Consulting – 10+ years of business value consulting, management consulting, investment banking, and/or enterprise SaaS sales

  • Executive Engagement – Leading C-level discussions to assess strategic objectives, identify improvement opportunities, and present board-level business cases

  • Sales Strategy – Partnering with field sales teams to develop creative account strategies and execute sales plays

  • Detailed Deliverables – Developing customer-facing Excel models and PowerPoint presentations with strong attention to details and formatting

  • Analytics – Deep financial analysis and modeling skills including the ability to educate non-financial roles in concepts such as ROI, IRR, TCO etc.

  • Cross-Functional Initiatives – Driving strategic projects proactively across sales, partners, marketing, customer success, professional services, and product teams

Education

  • Degree in finance, accounting, and/or engineering preferred, but not required
