Manager - Frontend Development

Aristocrat has established itself as a leader in digital casino gaming over the past decade. To strengthen it further, it is expanding digital gaming in iGaming domain (real money digital content).
The purpose of this role is to develop, coach and supervise games development team for this exciting initiative. The Candidate will manage the day-to-day content post-production operations, leading one of dev team in India comprising of Game SW Dev engineers to work upon diverse platforms like desktop, web, mobile etc. and delivering high quality software products. The person should be helping dev team to review architecture and providing technical help.
The Person will work closely with all Stakeholders to work on both Strategic and Tactical levels while guiding the development of Projects throughout their production life cycle.

What You'll Do

• Hire, build and skill the team to enhance its competencies to develop Digital Real Money Games as per business requirements in fast changing exciting environment.
• Design and develop games in TypeScript, JavaScript, Java for our next generation digital RMG gaming platform Bolt to be hosted over different devices of iOS/Android platform and over web as well.
• You will also be responsible for implementing digital games using Bolt GDK and providing technical help to the team by debugging or feature implementations. 
• You will be required to work in fast changing environment, quick analysis, and proposing/implementing solution for game side as well as Bolt technology stack to meet game feature requirements.
• The successful candidate will contribute towards high-quality and timely delivery of products, providing solutions to complex technical problems, knowledge sharing and technical documentation.
• Should implement good development practices in line of AW4 SW guidelines e.g. Unit/functional test case plan and execute.

• Participate in planning activities - Identify dependencies and follow up to their resolution. Identify and raise risks in a timely manner and take necessary action to mitigate the same. 
• Ensure timely deliveries with agreed quality of all the tasks undertaken by the team. 
• Hiring and onboarding of new members of the team. 
• Provide feedback and coaching to team members through regular communication and performance appraisals to maintain a culture of high-performance energetic team. 
• Identify Training needs of the team and to execute the training plan to constantly enhance the skill levels of the team. 
• Work with Sr. Management to accomplish business goals. 

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in design and development; At least 2 years’ experience in Product Development Engineering Management for a SW/Game team
• Expertise in the full software/project life cycle, including specifications, requirements analysis, design/architecture, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance. 
• Experience in managing a team developing digital gaming content will be a plus.
