Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement comprehensive network security
strategies.
Lead and manage a team of security professionals, providing
direction, mentorship, and support.
Collaborate with senior management to align security
initiatives with business objectives.
Network Security:
Design, implement, and manage secure network
architectures.
Ensure the continuous monitoring and protection of
network systems.
Manage and optimize firewall policies and configurations.
Endpoint Security:
Develop and enforce endpoint security policies.
Ensure the deployment and management of endpoint
protection solutions.
Monitor and respond to endpoint security incidents.
Vulnerability Management:
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration
tests.
Develop and implement remediation plans for identified
vulnerabilities.
Maintain a vulnerability management program to ensure
continuous improvement.
Risk Assessment:
Perform comprehensive risk assessments to identify
potential security threats.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure their
implementation.
Communicate risk findings and recommendations to
stakeholders.
Incident Response:
Lead the incident response team in the event of a security
breach.
Develop and maintain incident response plans and
procedures.
Conduct post-incident analysis and reporting.
Compliance and Governance:
Ensure compliance with relevant security standards,
regulations, and
policies.
Develop and maintain security documentation, including
policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
Training and Awareness:
Develop and deliver security training programs for
employees.
Promote a culture of security awareness across the
organization.
Technical Experience:
Minimum of 9 years of experience in network security,
firewall management, endpoint security, vulnerability
management, and risk assessment.
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or
equivalent are highly desirable.
Proven experience in leading and managing security teams.
Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewall
management, and endpoint protection solutions.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making
skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all
levels.
Mandatory skill sets: Experience in network security, firewall management, endpoint
security, vulnerability management, and risk assessment.
Preferred skill sets: CISSP, CISM, CEH Certifications
Years of experience required: 9+ years
