Responsibilities: 

• The candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of Oracle Applications systems.  Key responsibilities include

• -Installation and configuration of Oracle Applications and databases (E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion Middleware, etc.).

• Application of patches and upgrades to the software and databases.

• -Monitoring and optimizing database performance and capacity.

• -Maintaining database security, including data encryption and user access controls.

• Perform regular backups and recovery procedures.

• -Conducting performance tuning and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and reliability of the Oracle Applications.

• -Analyzing and resolving database and application issues.

• -Developing and maintaining documentation related to database configurations, processes, and service records.

• -Working closely with application developers to design and optimize database schemas and queries.

• -Implementing and enforce database policies, procedures, and standards.

• -Collaboration with functional and technical teams and client stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Mandatory skill sets 

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database architecture and administration.

• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, or Azure.

• Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred skill sets 

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems

• Experience with performance tuning and optimization tools.

Year of experience required 

• 7-10 Yrs experience

Educational Qualification  

• BE/BTech/MBA/MCA/CAs

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM).
