NVIDIA seeks a Manager, Product Quality Engineering for Data Center products. This role emphasizes engineering, leading a team in deep system and board failure analysis of customer complaints, tracking quality metrics, and collaborating with engineering and production teams. Responsibilities include managing and supervising the PQE team, coordinating with internal/external teams to root cause quality issues, defining test procedures, facilitating cross-functional communication, monitoring quality metrics, and representing quality to internal teams. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background in data center infrastructure, power electronics, memory devices, or semiconductor design/testing; expertise in failure analysis tools and methodologies; and excellent communication and leadership skills.

We are looking for a Product Quality Engineer Manager for Data Center products, this is a role with more focus on engineering aspects, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of product quality engineers focusing on deep level system and board failure analysis of customer quality complaints, tracking quality metrics. You will work closely with the engineering team and production team to ensure the quality alignment and integration of the product. Your strong technical background, quality mindset and excellent communication skills are essential as you will be leading NVIDIA Data Center products quality improvement initiatives and programs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage and supervise data center PQE team focusing on system and board level failure analysis of customer quality complaints, provide guidance, feedback, and coaching.

  • Coordinate with internal and external engineering team to root cause customer quality issues, ensure corrective and preventative actions are identified, implemented and effectiveness verified to address the failures.

  • Define test procedure and test coverage on customer return units, and continuously optimize test flow to identify known issues and improve testing output capacity.

  • Facilitate effective communication with cross functional teams, providing high-level failure analysis status updates, key findings, technical insights, tracking action items, and maintaining organized documentation.

  • Monitor and report Quality Metrics.

  • Quality representative to internal teams, supporting activities for customer quality and internal quality requirements.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related fields (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ overall years of engineering experience on data center or server system related products.

  • 2+ years of experience in people management or project management.

  • Strong technical background in two or more fields below, data center infrastructure, power electronics, memory device, semiconductor device design/fabrication/testing and automated testing.

  • Expert knowledge of failure analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies.

  • Possess proficient skills in data analysis and the ability to effectively visualize and present analysis results.

  • Effective communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
