Role Description:

Heroku, the leader in cloud application platforms, is looking for a Program Management Manager / Sr Manager to join the team and drive our critical initiatives forward. We are looking for a self-starter who thinks strategically, executes with urgency, and is flexible to changing market demands. This is a critical role that requires a creative and collaborative mindset to create a foundation for operational excellence. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the CMO in managing driving the operating cadence for the marketing team

  • Work with marketing leadership and line of business leads to coordinate on annual and quarterly program planning

  • Collaborate with central PMO office and communicate back to Marketing team and implement org best practices 

  • Document and communicate status and progress of priority programs and initiatives 

  • Lead creation and review of status documents before it is presented in operational reviews

  • Lead status meetings across marketing team to ensure team members are aligned on priorities 

  • Develop and maintain cross-functional workstreams to successfully deliver programs and projects

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in program management, strategy, or operations roles

  • Proven experience in driving and managing complex projects across diverse stakeholders

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Organized, detail oriented individual with a bias for action

  • Expertise in creating strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and align with global stakeholders

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $110,600 to $187,900.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $121,800 to $206,700.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $121,800 to $206,700.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
