As a Trust and Safety AdSpam Manager, you will lead a team ensuring a secure advertising ecosystem. You'll enhance publisher and advertiser experiences by mitigating threats, identifying key challenges, and developing data-driven solutions. The role requires quickly grasping nuanced product and policy issues, managing stakeholder relationships, motivating your team, and partnering with cross-functional teams to shape AdSpam strategy. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of Engineering Quality analysts, acting as a Trust and Safety representative with cross-functional partners, identifying and addressing problems through effective programs, collaborating on escalations, translating strategic goals into actionable projects, and guiding successful execution. This position requires a bias for action, strategic thinking, and a passion for online safety.
Must have:
  • 7+ years data analysis experience
  • 7+ years project management experience
  • Lead and manage a team
  • Identify and mitigate ad spam threats
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Develop data-driven solutions
Good to have:
  • Experience in Technology, Product Policy, Trust and Safety
  • Experience in policy/program management
  • Data analysis skills (SQL, Python)
  • Knowledge of content moderation and policy enforcement

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
  • 7 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.


Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in Technology, Product Policy, Trust and Safety or related fields.
  • Experience in policy/program management, user and merchant experience, business strategy, or related fields.
  • Experience/knowledge in data analysis (SQL, Python), complex problem-solving, scaled operations, and efficient execution.
  • Knowledge of content moderation, policy enforcement, customer support or policy creation.
  • Proven ability to solve complex operational or policy problems, working closely with various cross-functional teams.

You'll effectively manage relationships with senior stakeholders, navigating diverse priorities and goals, motivate and inspire your team, leveraging analytical insights to drive impactful results. By partnering closely with Trust and Safety leadership and cross-functional teams, you'll shape the overall AdSpam strategy. Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Engineering Quality analysts responsible for Ads Traffic Quality team (aka AdSpam).
  • Act as a representative for Trust and Safety with cross-functional partners, influencing their decisions and actions.
  • Identify and address problems and issues by developing effective programs and processes.
  • Collaborate with senior internal and external stakeholders to manage and resolve escalations that could pose legal, regulatory, or reputational risks.
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable projects and deliverables for the team, and guide them towards successful execution.
