Job Description

Zarzilla Games® is seeking a Manual QA Specialist to ensure the highest quality of their app-based games. This role involves creating and executing test plans based on game design documents, updating them with new feature releases, and identifying/reporting bugs using in-house tools. The specialist will coordinate and manage tickets to meet deadlines, communicate feedback to game development teams for an optimal player experience, and utilize development tools to understand backend functionality and monitor app performance. Testing will be conducted on various platforms including Android, iOS, and web.

Good To Have:

Experience with Automation Testing
Scripting knowledge/experience
ISTQB certification

Must Have:

Minimum 1-2 years manual testing experience (mobile games)
Relevant certification in Computing, Software Development or related field
Strong understanding of SDLC
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Fluency in English
Good knowledge of MS Office Suite
Ability to test on Android, iOS, and Browsers independently
Experience with bug-tracking software (Jira, Bugzilla, etc.)
Previous experience in an Agile environment

Zarzilla Games® is looking for a Manual QA to join us!

Do you want to be a hero in Zarzilla Games®? You will be an integral player, ensuring that all of our app-based games are optimized to the very highest quality. Furthermore, you'll be joining forces with our in-house games development team to ensure effective communication and feedback.

Responsibilities:

- Creating test plans from provided game design documents.

- Updating and running test plans alongside new feature releases.

- Identifying and reporting bugs on in-house bug tracking tools.

- Co-ordinating and managing tickets ensuring deadlines are met.

- Communicating feedback to different game teams ensuring the best possible player experience.

- Utilizing development tools in order to understand back-end functionality and to monitor overall app performance.

- Testing on different platforms (Android, iOS, web).

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 – 2 years manual testing experience (mobile games).

- Relevant certification in Computing, Software Development or a related field.

- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to reproduce issues consistently.

- Fluency in English.

- Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite.

- Able to comfortably test on Android, iOS and Browsers independently and with minimum guidance.

- Experience with other bug-tracking software such as Jira, Bugzilla, etc.

- Previous experience working within an Agile environment.
