The Manufacturing Test Development Engineer at Google Cloud will collaborate with Operations and Design Engineers to plan infrastructure needs and product specifications. Responsibilities include developing product-specific manufacturing test methodologies and strategies, creating test plans, and managing test development. This role involves defining manufacturing test strategies for new products, working with partners to develop test solutions, deploying test platforms globally, and developing automated test scripts using Python and SQL. The engineer will ensure Google's infrastructure works seamlessly for a smooth user experience.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 5+ years experience in electronics manufacturing
- Develop manufacturing test strategies
- Automated test script development (Python, SQL)
- Collaborate with global partners
Good to have:
- Experience with computing, storage & networking products
- Experience working with CM, ODM, or JDM partners

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in Developing of Manufacturing Test Solutions for computing, storage and networking products.
- Experience in generating product-specific test strategy, plans and executing testing accordingly.
- Experience in working test development with CM, ODM, or JDM partners.
- Experience with the Python scripting language.
- Ability to communicate clearly with Agreements Manufacturers and peers in worldwide geographies.

Google’s Cloud Supply Chain and Operations (CSCO) team is seeking a Manufacturing Test Development Engineer to evaluate the product designs and create the manufacturing processes, tools and procedures behind Google's effective search technology.
In this role, you will collaborate with Operations Engineers and Design Engineers to plan Google's infrastructure needs and product specifications. You will ensure the various pieces of Google's infrastructure fit together perfectly and keep our systems running smoothly for a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop per-product process manufacturing test methodology or strategy, test plan creation/ownership or technical program management of test development.
- Define the manufacturing test strategy for new products and work with our partners to jointly develop the required test solutions and deploy test platforms for Google's global manufacturing partners.
- Develop/oversee automated test scripts for functional test, software installation and burn-in using Python and SQL.
