1618/1620 Market Material Handler 1st – Sanford, NC

We have an opportunity for a 1618/1620 Market Material Handler 1st to join our Sanford NC team.

You will:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned as needed

  • Ensure that material is staged for the lines.
  • Have the ability to understand the BOM’s for all product lines in the area.
  • Understand the department operating procedures.
  • Provide feedback to line leader.
  • Perform material handling functions as assigned.
  • Follow all policies and procedures of Pentair Water Pool and Spa and the department.

  • Computer literate, SAP/transaction literate (scrap/non-conformity/accurately report all transactions) production reporting
  • Ability to accurately count.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic leadership skills.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and quick changeovers.
  • Forklift experience/license required

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts on the factory floor, may need to work in an environment where the noise level could be moderate to very loud. 

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated hourly base pays $18.00 per hour. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

Shift Hours: 1st 4:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Plus OT and Weekends.
