Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Marketing and Community Manager to spearhead our community-building efforts and drive our marketing initiatives. This mid-level role requires a passionate individual with experience in the video gaming industry, particularly in virtual and extended reality. The ideal candidate will excel in managing social media channels, building community, creating engaging content strategies, and overseeing third-party agencies.


Key Responsibilities:


Community Building and Management:

  • Develop and execute community-building activities across Discord, Instagram, TikTok, Meta, X, YouTube, Twitch, and other social media platforms.
  • Engage with and grow our gaming community, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Utilize the latest tools, including AI, to enhance community engagement and interaction.


Content Strategy:

  • Create and implement a comprehensive content strategy to support our portfolio of games.
  • Produce high-quality written and video content that resonates with our audience and promotes our games effectively.
  • Collaborate with third-party agencies to ensure consistent and impactful content delivery.


Influencer Marketing and Public Relations:

  • Develop and manage influencer marketing campaigns to expand our reach and drive engagement.
  • Build relationships with key influencers in the gaming industry.
  • Coordinate traditional public relations efforts to enhance our brand visibility and reputation.


Project Management:

  • Act as a project manager to coordinate marketing campaigns and community initiatives.
  • Ensure timely execution of projects, maintaining clear communication with internal teams and external partners.
  • Provide regular reports on community growth, engagement metrics, and campaign performance.
  • Manage deadlines and timelines across all activities to support the games we invest in and support in launching, building, and growing their respective communities.


Analytical and Creative Thinking:

  • Analyze community feedback and social media trends to inform marketing strategies.
  • Develop creative ideas to enhance community engagement and game promotion.
  • Think objectively to balance creative ideas with data-driven insights.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the video gaming industry, ideally with a strong understanding of VR and XR technologies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing communities on platforms like Discord, Instagram, TikTok, Meta, X, YouTube, Twitch, and other social media channels.
  • Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance community engagement.
  • Exceptional writing and content creation skills.
  • Experience working with gaming publishers and developers, with a clear understanding of the dynamics involved.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with influencer marketing and traditional public relations.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for gaming and community building.
  • Based in Miami, FL, with the ability to work from our headquarters.
