The Marketing Director will lead the development and execution of the publishing vision and strategy, aligning with brand strategies and optimizing for the target market. This role involves creating go-to-market strategies, conducting market research, building marketing plans, and managing public relations. Key responsibilities include creating GTM strategies, conducting market research, building marketing plans, partnering with creative teams for marketing campaigns, and communicating the product marketing vision to teams. The director will also develop campaigns, build content calendars, and craft project plans to map out content releases. They will define, manage, and track key product delivery KPIs. This role requires strong marketing, organizational, and communication skills to ensure successful product launches and market penetration. The candidate should also be comfortable communicating with multiple departments.

Intro

Synergy Games is a studio established by professionals with more than 15 years of experience in the video game industry. We have worked for companies such as Ubisoft, 2K Games, MercurySteam, Ilion Studios, Konami, Nintendo, Riot Games and Pyro Studios

We are developing Synergy Land, a blockchain multiplayer ARPG game, set in a fantasy world, with NFTs and a blockchain-enhanced economy.

Inspired by popular games, such as Diablo and Path Of Exile, the game aims to combine the best of these worlds where regular and hardcore players will enjoy the gameplay experience as well as an ecosystem for players who want to collect and trade NFTs, giving to the community true ownership of digital assets.

Position

We are looking for a Marketing Director. A proven leader with an entrepreneurial spirit who has experience managing complex projects and building teams. As Marketing Director, you will create and execute the publishing vision and strategy that is consistent with Synergy Games' brand strategies, optimized for the target market, demonstrating best-in-class practices and aligned through the organization.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years relevant product marketing management experience with demonstrated success.

  • Comfort collaborating and communicating with teams at various levels of seniority to ensure product requirements are met.

  • You are Interested in metaverse and NFT concepts.

  • Foundational product marketing experience, campaign management experience, and brand marketing experience.

  • 5+ Years of experience building product and brand marketing strategies for a start-up or for product launches within larger organizations.

  • Strong marketing, organizational and communication skills.

  • The ability to define key audiences and insights in order to build and execute go-to-market strategies.

  • The ability to think strategically, creatively and execute across projects.

  • Experience bringing a product to market from inception through launch.

  • Preferred marketing experience in gaming, tech, or social media.

  • 1-2 years of experience managing a team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create a well-scoped, well-documented GTM strategy

  • Conduct market research to understand the public interest and determine the marketability of products and services.

  • Partner with creative to build unique marketing strategies across multiple web2 and web3 communication channels like social media, blogs, digital media, press & partnerships.

  • Create marketing plans internally and for partners detailing outcomes and goals.

  • Distill and communicate the product marketing vision to teams.

  • Create sales materials for potential consumers

  • Handle public relations and troubleshoot internal and external issues as they arise.

  • Communicate with multiple departments.

  • Customer acquisition: bring awareness to your product through content such as social media, copywriting, and blogs.

  • Develop campaigns and build content campaign calendars.

  • Craft a project plan to map out content releases.

  • Define, manage and track key product delivery KPIs.
