Marketing Manager

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Marketing Manager for a Utlities/Energy client.

This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The role is located in Charlotte, NC, and is hybrid with 3 days weekly onsite required.

Position Summary Seeking a motivated Marketing Manager to support the Enterprise Omnichannel Notification System (EONs), including SMS/Text, Email, App Push, and Outbound Voice. Responsibilities include database management, message creation, compliance monitoring, campaign execution, and performance tracking. Experience in SMS/Text marketing, direct marketing, HTML, and analytics is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations for customer contact channels.

• Develop and implement channel strategies, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.

• Act as a subject matter expert for digital communication channels.

• Optimize content for engagement and consistency across platforms.

• Monitor compliance with regulatory guidelines (e.g., TCPA for SMS/Text).

• Analyze performance metrics and provide data-driven insights.

• Develop protocols to improve workflow and project management.

• Collaborate across teams to enhance communication strategies.

• Stay updated on digital trends and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.

• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree.

• Experience with HTML, agile processes, Jira, A/B testing, and analytics tools.

• Strong project management, digital marketing, and customer engagement skills.

• Familiarity with utility industry, energy efficiency, and sustainability is a plus.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
