What You’ll be Building

As a Marketing Manager at Yellow, you will lead and own how Yellow connects with its various audiences—users, customers, partners, potential hires, and the broader developer and designer community. You are passionate about storytelling and build a deep understanding of the product and its capabilities through hands-on use and extensive customer interaction. You immerse yourself in the market and societal trends (zeitgeist) at multiple levels, from the 3D industry to the AI/tech industry and society at large. You synthesize these insights to develop a coherent, fresh, and effective marketing strategy. You thrive in bringing new scientific breakthroughs and advanced technology products to market, ensuring they integrate seamlessly into people's lives. Your work is cutting-edge and future-looking, embodying Yellow’s values of risk-taking and bold thinking. You have a proven track record of performing at the top of your field, including at least two successful product introductions and experience building marketing capabilities from scratch. You excel across all marketing channels with a focused and strategic approach.

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to write and execute Yellow’s story, shaping how it lands with its audience. You will be responsible for all facets of marketing and branding, working directly with the CEO and collaborating with industry experts. Your work will be pivotal in bringing innovative 3D generative AI technologies to market, enabling creativity and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy and Vision:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with Yellow’s goals and resonates with various audiences.

    • Craft and communicate Yellow’s story through compelling narratives and branding efforts.

  • Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct extensive market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.

    • Stay attuned to the zeitgeist across industries and society to inform marketing strategies.

  • Product Launch and Branding:

    • Lead the end-to-end process of product launches, ensuring cohesive branding and messaging.

    • Develop and maintain Yellow’s brand identity across all channels.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with product, engineering, sales, and design teams to align marketing efforts with product development and company goals.

    • Act as a bridge between different departments to ensure cohesive communication and strategy execution.

  • Content Creation and Channel Management:

    • Create engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, blogs, videos, and events.

    • Optimize the use of all marketing channels with a strategic and data-driven approach.

  • Customer Engagement and Feedback:

    • Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their pain points, and tailor marketing efforts to meet their needs.

    • Use customer insights to continuously refine and improve marketing strategies.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a marketing manager, with at least 2 years working with high-tech products like AI.

  • Proven experience leading the launch of at least two full-cycle products.

  • Expertise in all aspects of marketing and branding.

  • Ability to set the vision and roadmap for Yellow’s marketing, branding, and product launches.

  • Extremely high attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum in marketing, business, or a related field.

Preferred:

  • Successful startup experience.

  • Experience in the field of games, entertainment, or special effects.

  • Passionate practitioner of any art or creative form.
