JOB SUMMARY
To actively drive business and profitability growth by cooperatively working with Marketing, Sales, Strategic Product Development to identify and secure customer opportunities. Role should be focused on developing marketing strategies, executing launch plans and driving customer conversions to the high value products for the area of responsibility. The purpose of these endeavors is to develop a clear strategic roadmap in support of the related platform, which can be executed by the organization so to maximize profitability and value to the customer.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for product segment strategies as assigned and for strategic positioning of products within the related marketing platform. This may include: branding, promotion, competitive intelligence, positioning, pricing, margin targets, forecasting, target markets and customers, recommendation strategies, customer value and selling strategies.
- Identify trends in the pharmaceutical market that may impact West products
- Ownership of product launches and associated West Sales PROs training, creation of sales tools and support including formal market plans.
- Coordination with Sales, TCS and/or Product Development to garner market feedback following the established Voice of Customer (VOC) process.
- Responsible for working with key customers through concept development, product development and industrialization in support of the Project Scaffold process.
- Proactive marketing lead, working directly with the customer and sales to identify and tackle specific conversion opportunities in support of the defined platform strategies.
- Keep up to date on competitive activities and market developments in order to recommend and implement actions of management
- Marketing champion on steering teams as assigned related to the marketing platform.
- Participate actively in industry associations, working groups, support in Educational Series events to showcase West’s leadership orientation.
- Marketing lead to support coordination and management of trade shows, events, posters/presentations planning and execution as assigned.
- Manage all local promotional activities and materials (eg. exhibitions, promotional samples, brochures) in collaboration with regional marketing
- Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree
MBA in Marketing
Work Experience:
Minimum 8 years relevant experience preferred from Pharmaceutical/medical device in Marketing field.

- Creativity in developing content that brings value propositions, differentiation, and positioning to the lifecycle for Glass System products and services
- Proficiency in developing market messaging in line with Challenger principles and in support of customer journey
- Ability to leverage technical data to support product claims through commercial content generation
- Technical proficiency in managing collaborative work through digital platforms including Teams, SharePoint, MS Project and respective internal marketing tools to manage campaigns
- Exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments
- Working knowledge of medical device regulations, ISO standards, and market trends on combination products
- Able to be aware of all relevant standard operating procedures as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
- Able to comply with the company’s safety and quality policy at all times
