What to Expect

Tesla is looking for a Regional Marketing Specialist to support with various Consumer Engagement responsibilities including demand generation and awareness strategies, content development, retail marketing and events.

As a Regional Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing demand generation strategies to drive and grow our sales opportunities pipeline within your region. You will collaborate closely with sales teams, external partners and the broader Consumer Engagement team to create and implement integrated marketing campaigns, leveraging a mix of online and offline channels.   

As Tesla continues to scale and grow, the need to effectively engage and communicate with existing and future customers is critical to our success. The Regional Marketing Specialist will be a core addition to the Consumer Engagement team and key to continuing Tesla’s growth across Australia and New Zealand by upholding the Tesla brand.  

About The Team: 

Consumer Engagement (CE) is responsible for upholding the Tesla brand across Australia and New Zealand and manages all customer facing content (web, social, events, email communications, etc). The growing team works closely with internal stakeholders to develop effective engagement strategies that drive demand in our products and support wider business objectives.

  • Will be capable of developing, executing and implementing demand generation strategies across B2C and B2B. 
  • Will work within a small and highly functioning team – proactiveness and initiative is a must.  
  • Have the desire and ability to navigate through multiple competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that changes day to day. 
  • Create and implement innovative ideas and a deep understanding of marketing and customer engagement.  
  • Communicate effectively, understands the value of brand positioning, and will bring blue-sky thinking and opportunities to the forefront.  
  • Possess natural stakeholder management and critical thinking skills.  
  • Will have the ability to travel regularly to all Stores in their region.
What You’ll Bring

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop demand generation strategies tailored to your region & customer, leveraging regional knowledge and insights to increase sales opportunities, test drives and orders.  
  • Create quarterly integrated marketing and event calendars using online and offline channels to boost awareness and drive demand to regional stores.
  • Implement centralised tracking and reporting for all activities, including test drives, in-store activations, and external events. 
  • Plan and coordinate demand generation and awareness activations including in-store and external events 
  • Analyse campaign performance and ROI, offering data-driven insights for optimised campaigns. Prepare comprehensive reports for internal stakeholders and management reviews. 
  • Present event strategy and manage logistics to ensure smooth execution and positive attendee experiences. 
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders including regional sales, enterprise & service managers to align marketing campaigns with overall business goals.  
  • Collaborate with and manage relationships with local vendors, agencies, and media partners to execute campaigns effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies in all marketing activities. 
  • Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and optimisation in marketing campaigns and activations. 
  • Ensure facility maintenance and showroom presentation adhere to brand standards including employees aligning with dress code guidelines. 
  • Organise and create brand assets and collateral for regional activations.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges and share your insights with relevant teams.
What You’ll Bring
  • 2-3 years of experience within in B2B and B2C marketing.
  • Rigorous, detail-oriented, critical thinker and performance-driven. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills; works well independently and collaboratively. 
  • Ability to flex between big picture thinking, understand and distil complex ideas, and analyse data to drive strategic objectives. 
  • Effective verbal communicator who can lead and speak in front of key stakeholders and represent the Tesla brand effectively. 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to influence others to achieve desired results and meet all deadlines. 
  • Strong ability to recognise and respond to multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
