Master's Thesis in Adaptive Control of Electric Drives

2 Months ago • All levels

Job Description

This Master's thesis involves modeling electrical drive systems using AI methods and developing new control and learning procedures with machine learning and model-based approaches. The role includes designing adaptive control systems that account for unknown system behavior, implementing and validating these methods in MATLAB/Simulink, and optionally prototyping on a dSpace test bench. The work focuses on advanced control strategies for electric drives.
Must Have:
  • Model electrical drive systems using AI methods.
  • Develop new control and learning methods for electric drives using machine learning and model-based procedures.
  • Design adaptive control considering the estimation of unknown system behavior.
  • Implement and validate new methods in MATLAB or Simulink.
  • Be proficient in system dynamics and control engineering.
  • Have confident handling of MATLAB or Simulink.
  • Be enrolled at a university.
