Job Description

Phantom Fx is looking for a skilled Match Move & Rotomation Artist with strong experience in Rotomation, tracking, and 3D packages. You'll be responsible for camera Matchmove, understanding 3D camera principles, and accurate 3D geometry reconstruction. Knowledge of object tracking and animation is advantageous. Proficiency in Autodesk Maya and animation techniques is a must. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Strong knowledge in Rotomation , tracking and 3D packages.
• Analytical problem-solving skills, ability to use survey and photogrammetry models for camera Matchmove.
• Good understanding of 3D camera principles like lenses, distortion, lens grids, parallax, types of the camera move, over scan.
• Reasonable knowledge in terms of accurate reconstruction of 3D geometry based on shots.
• Understanding camera motion in 3D space, nudging camera move manually with logical motion.
• Knowledge in animation and rotomation skills including working with rigs and ability to perform object tracking would be an added advantage.
• General proficiency with Autodesk Maya and sound knowledge of animation techniques.
• Knowledge in object tracking and need to work with a flawless perspective angle.
• Take direction from leads and supervisors
• Continual and efficient communication
• Remain current and up-to-date through industry research and training
