Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Matte Painter to join our Melbourne studio on a contract basis (March 2025 to end of May 2025). This is a fully remote position exclusively for Australian-based artists. Responsibilities include creating photorealistic CG matte paintings to augment or replace live-action footage. You will work with live-action footage, digital still photography, rendered CG elements, and digital paint to create believable and seamlessly integrated environments. The role demands expertise in Photoshop and Nuke, and the ability to handle diverse implementations, including 2D backdrops, textured elements/fixes, and complex 2.5D/3D projections.
Must Have:
- Professional level Photoshop & Nuke experience
- Create photorealistic CG matte paintings
- Integrate seamlessly into film
- Comfortable with 2D/2.5D/3D projections

You Can

You Have
