Job Overview:

The Process Engineer (Functional Product Owner) for Master Data is responsible for defining, owning, governing, and developing the operational processes for one or more global Contract Logistics products at Maersk. This role focuses on operational processes, data flows, and defining performance requirements. Additionally, it involves close collaboration with Product Owners, regional operational leaders, Business/Technology Platform Owners, and customers to understand their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the integrity and quality of Master Data elements.
• Contribute to defining standard ways of working and structures for managing Enterprise Master Data across the GPL organizations, in collaboration with Master Data Anchors in PEX, including handling of "unhappy flow" (process failures).
• Implement and adhere to defined standards for master data usage alongside operational processes.
• Oversee the execution of ownership, measurements, tech solutions, and governance for critical Master Data elements within scope.
• Define a strategy and direction for improving the integrity and quality of Master Data elements within scope.
• Establish and act as custodian of a Master Data stewardship setup.
• Continuously review and provide input for Master Data Governance.
• Implement master data governance and guardrails, and track compliance with master data end-users.
• Support other Functional Product Owners (FPOs) on Master Data connections in their processes.

Requirements:

• Master Data Management Knowledge: Extensive understanding of master data management principles and practices.
• Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail Orientation: Strong attention to detail for accurate Master Data handling.
• Learning Agility: Willingness to learn and grow in Master Data management.
• Project Management Experience: Experience managing complex, time-critical projects.
• Organizational Skills: Well-organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage risks appropriately.
• Self-Motivation: Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to support new product ideas and communicate effectively in English (a second language is preferred).
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, etc.), preferably SQL and Microsoft PowerBI.
