Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components with a focus on integrating mechatronic technologies
- Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation
- Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and analysis to ensure optimal design fit, functionality, and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and software developers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and mechatronic systems
- Manage and coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables
- Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of mechanical and mechatronic systems
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in mechanical and mechatronic engineering
- Ensure compliance with design standards, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical or mechatronic engineering
- Strong knowledge of mechatronic systems and components
- Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical design and modeling (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Experience with simulation software (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink) for mechatronic design and analysis
- Good understanding of control systems and electromechanical principles
- Experience with PLC programming and integration
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
