Job Description

The Media Lead - Ecommerce at Schbang Digital Solutions is responsible for creating and managing ad accounts, understanding client objectives, and developing media strategies. This role involves identifying new business avenues, selecting optimal platforms, and collaborating with internal teams. Key responsibilities include plan development and presentation to clients, budget management, campaign monitoring, and data analysis using tools like Google Analytics, SimilarWeb, and SEMrush. The position also entails team leadership, hiring, training, and reporting. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in Amazon Ads and Flipkart Ads.

Job Details

Major Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the creation of the ad account
  • Understanding business objectives of the clients and giving the team a direction on how to progress with the brief and achieve the business objectives
  • Understanding new avenues of business where Schbang can contribute and pitch them proactively to the client along with the Head of Media
  • Identify the best possible platforms and review the plan basis the marketing objectives as created by the team
  • Sharing of the plan with the clients
  • Understanding the benchmark rates from the buying team before sharing the plan to the clients
  • If any requirement of third parties - coordinate with the internal third party team to get the best possible rates
  • Work on iteration on the media plans basis feedback from the clients as and when required
  • Once the media plan is locked, share the estimate with the accounts team, for the estimates to be raised
  • Ensuring the estimate is raised by the team to the client and ensuring that work does not begin on the account without the receipt of the PO
  • Ensuring campaigns begin on time and guiding the team on the best way forward
  • Monitoring the campaigns along with the buying team and ensuring the rates are in par with the media plans
  • Using Analytics tool such as Google Analytics, SimilarWeb, SEMRush for industry benchmarking
  • Involved in hiring of team members and making hiring decisions
  • Training and mentoring new joinees in order to ensure they are synced with the ways of working
  • Responsible to ensure Media Estimate Tracker / Revenue Trackers are up to date
  • Strive towards meeting targets allocated
  • Tracking of targets achieved v/s set
  • Ensuring the monthly media related reports are prepared in accordance.


Skills Required:

  • Strong Communication & Time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving attitude and having an analytical mind
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, SimilarWeb, SEMRush
  • Knowledge of Amazon Ads, Flipkart Ads
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Team management ability
