Job Description

Onward Search seeks a Medical Sales Associate (remote, California residents only) to drive business growth by engaging with existing customers and identifying new sales opportunities. Responsibilities include introducing products and service contracts to existing clients, prospecting new leads, driving sales and renewals through outbound calls and emails, communicating with decision-makers, assessing customer needs, providing service quotes, addressing customer concerns, and identifying opportunities for upgrades and add-ons. The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years of inside sales, direct sales, customer service, or telemarketing experience (preferably in medical devices or healthcare), strong communication skills, proven sales success, and the ability to manage time effectively. This is a 1-year contract position with potential for extension, offering a pay range of $36-$40/hr.

This remote position is open to California residents and offers the flexibility of working from home while driving revenue growth.

As a Medical Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving business growth by engaging with existing customers and identifying new sales opportunities. This position focuses on promoting product offerings and securing service contract renewals through strategic outreach efforts. Responsibilities:

  • Introduce products and service contract offerings to existing customers.
  • Identify and prospect new customer opportunities and leads.
  • Drive new business sales and service contract renewals through outbound calls and emails.
  • Communicate with key decision-makers to promote product sales and secure service contracts.
  • Assess customers’ existing equipment and warranty terms to recommend tailored solutions.
  • Provide formal service quotes and agreements to customers.
  • Follow up on customer feedback and address concerns to ensure satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for contract renewals, multi-year upgrades, and product add-ons.
  • Develop customized solutions that align with customer needs and business goals.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, direct sales, customer service, or telemarketing, preferably in medical devices or healthcare.
  • AA/BS/BA degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers.
  • Proven success in prospecting, pipeline building, and closing sales opportunities.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work in a results-driven environment.
  • Experience selling subscriptions or service contracts is preferred.

Additional Details:

  • Location: Remote (California residents only).
  • Duration: 1 year (potential for extension).
  • Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday.
  • Pay: $36 - $40/hr, paid weekly, benefits eligible.
