Summary

As a C++ & DSA Mentor, you'll play a crucial role in guiding students towards their career goals. This is a freelance role, allowing you to work remotely and set your own schedule. You will be responsible for motivating students, providing direction, resolving technical issues, and offering feedback on their progress. Your expertise in game development with C++, Data Structures, Unity, C#, and multiplayer will be invaluable in empowering students to succeed.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of game development experience (C++, Data Structures, Unity, C#, Multiplayer)
  • Innovative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written)
Good to have:
  • Teaching or mentorship experience
  • Experience teaching at a coding boot camp
  • Experience as a teaching assistant in college
  • Mentoring junior developers
  • Volunteering to teach
  • Creating educational content (YouTube)

About the role:

  • Type of work - Freelance - work at your own time (during the week/weekend is totally up to you)
  • Employment Type - 6 months (can be extended based on performance and availability)
  • Location - Remote
  • Availability - 6 to 8 hours/week (more is always better!)
  • Compensation - Hourly basis

What You Will Do:

  • You will act as a core contributor to the student’s success in the program
  • Motivate the students to achieve their career goals.
  • Guiding the students in the right direction
  • Resolve any issues the students may encounter
  • Help students by providing them feedback on their course progress.

Must-Have:

  • Someone with 3+ years of solid game development experience in any tech stack (C++, Data Structure, Unity, C#, Multiplayer).
  • Innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Great communication skills both verbal and written

Good To Have:

  • Experience with either of these
    • teaching or mentorship experience that showcases your ability to explain complex subjects effectively
      • teaching at a coding boot camp,
      • being a teaching assistant in college,
      • mentoring junior developers, volunteering to teach
    • creating educational content via YouTube.
