Role And Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a skilled Mid Level Camera Track Artist to join our talented team. As a Camera Track Artist, you will be responsible for working under the guidance of a Track Supervisor to ensure the desired level of quality and technical accuracy in our projects. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with the Track Supervisor to achieve the desired level of quality and technical accuracy
• Keeping track of schedules and deadlines to deliver work within expected timelines
• Being open to learning new software and pipelines
• Positively accepting directions and collaborating effectively within a team
• Thriving under pressure and tight deadlines
• Identifying camera motions and parallax of objects to track the plate
• Identifying the Z depth of objects in scans
• Demonstrating strong camera solving skills in 3D Equalizer
• Possessing a strong knowledge of FilmBack values and focal length
• Having a strong understanding of different types of distortions
• Delivering high-quality output with strong lineup and posing skills
• Having basic knowledge of Lidar, Layouts, or Proxy Modeling
• Having a strong knowledge of rendering and packaging as per client specifications
• Being a team player and assisting junior team members to ensure quality output
  
  

Candidate Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Strong 3D knowledge, including a strong familiarity with 3D Equalizer and Autodesk Maya
• Familiarity with all types of camera motions
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of standard types of cameras used in film sets
• Ability to work well in a strong team environment
• Ability to handle delegated tasks with minimal supervision
• Strong skill sets in cameras and layouts
• Ability to improvise and problem solve
• Manage notes from supervisor and ensure they are applied
• User-friendly with both Windows and Linux operating systems would be an advantage
