Job Description

Develop features and fix bugs for the client's Industrial Switches Platform family. This role involves embedded software development, preferably for network equipment, utilizing C programming in VxWorks/Linux/Unix environments. A strong understanding of Ethernet and IP networking, along with experience with cross-compilers, debuggers, and git is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with RTOS application development and multi-process system software architectures, along with familiarity with POSIX threads, SNMP, and XML. Shell scripting skills are also valuable. The work contributes to creating an industrial infrastructure supporting industrial edge and IIoT goals.

Must have:

Embedded software development experience (network equipment preferred)
C programming (VxWorks/Linux/Unix)
Ethernet and IP networking understanding
Git knowledge
RTOS application development (VxWorks/NetBSD/Linux)
Multi-process system software architectures experience

Good to have:

Agile/Scrum experience
POSIX threads experience
SNMP experience
XML experience
Shell Scripting

Responsibilities

Feature developing and bug fixing for Client's Industrial Switches Platform family

Skills

Must have

Experience in embedded software development, preferably for network equipment

Experience with C programming on VxWorks/Linux/Unix environments

Experience with cross compilers, debuggers, etc.

Good understanding of Ethernet and IP networking

Familiarity with git

Knowledge of RTOS application development (VxWorks / NetBSD / Linux)

Understanding multi-process system software architectures

Experience with one or more of the following: POSIX threads, SNMP, XML

Shell Scripting

Nice to have
