The Military Aircraft Data Analyst role at Redhorse Corporation involves significant contributions to Condition-Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) initiatives. Key responsibilities include executing program initiatives, developing and maintaining dashboards using Qlik Sense, providing expert insights on maintenance practices to support AI/ML development, and advising stakeholders on military aircraft data and trends. The role requires a bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, including 2+ years in data analysis, along with expertise in data visualization tools and a minimum DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Must have:
  • 10+ years relevant aircraft maintenance experience
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis
  • In-depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools
  • Ability to interpret Aircraft Technical Orders
  • Experience with Maintenance Information Systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must hold current minimum DoD Secret Security Clearance
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes
  • Advanced understanding of AI/ML in predictive maintenance
  • Proficiency with software development languages
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) data systems

About the Role
Redhorse Corporation is seeking a skilled Military Aircraft Data Analyst to contribute significantly to our Condition-Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) initiatives. This crucial role leverages cutting-edge AI/ML technologies to revolutionize aircraft sustainment, optimize maintenance efficiency, and enhance the readiness of our nation's defense systems. You will be instrumental in improving the quality control of maintenance data product models and supporting strategic objectives related to predictive maintenance and data analytics, directly impacting mission success.

Key Responsibilities
    • Execute program initiatives from inception to deployment, ensuring alignment with CBM+ business and mission objectives.
    • Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards and data visualizations using Qlik Sense to support aircraft maintenance analytics and decision-making.
    • Provide analytical expert insights on maintenance practices to support AI/ML development.
    • Participate in engagement meetings, advising stakeholders on military aircraft data and trends.

Required Experience/Clearance
    • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience, including 2+ years in data analysis, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • In-depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices and aircraft industry trends.
    • Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Excel) and general understanding of statistical modeling (Weibull, Gamma distributions).
    • Ability to interpret Aircraft Technical Orders and apply general aircraft maintenance knowledge.
    • Experience with Maintenance Information Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple projects.
    • Must hold current minimum DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Experience
    • Familiarity with Agile development processes and collaborative tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Lucidchart.
    • Advanced understanding of AI/ML applications in predictive maintenance.
    • Proficiency with software development languages, such as Python, JavaScript, C++, R, etc.
    • Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) data systems and Air Force-specific platforms.
