Job Description

We’re seeking a Military Analyst to work as part of a team developing work products for the Army’s Training Management Directorate in support of the Combined Arms Training Strategies (CATS) program. This role will be responsible for developing Sustainment CATS as directed by the U.S. Army Combined Arms Support Command
Must have:
  • Develop and maintain CATS for CASCOM MTOE Units
  • Analyze Sustainment Doctrine, Lessons Learned, After Action Reports etc.
  • Conduct feedback sessions with operational units
  • Assist Unit Training Managers in training the employment of CATS
Good to have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with an area of interest in adult education, or analysis of data and information

Job Summary

We’re seeking a Military Analyst to work as part of a team developing work products for the Army’s Training Management Directorate in support of the Combined Arms Training Strategies (CATS) program. This role will be responsible for developing Sustainment CATS as directed by the U.S. Army Combined Arms Support Command

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain CATS for CASCOM MTOE Units
  • Analyze Sustainment Doctrine, Lessons Learned, After Action Reports etc.
  • Conduct feedback sessions with operational units
  • Assist Unit Training Managers in training the employment of CATS

Required Experience

  • Three (3) + years of staff experience preparing and briefing products to senior personnel
  • Five (5) + years of military experience with knowledge of training and education development processes.
  • Familiar with AR 350-1, Army Training and Leader Development and TR 350-70, Army Learning Policy and Systems

Education and/or Experience

  • Graduate from a military or civilian service school equivalent to the Sergeant Majors Academy or the Command and General Staff College.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree with an area of interest in adult education, or analysis of data and information

Other Qualifications

  • Must be US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a favorable background check to support NIPRNET access
  • Possess clear and precise oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to meet requirements to work on a military installation, including having a valid state driver's license and automobile insurance
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks within specified timeframes
  • Demonstrate high standards of quality and accuracy
  • Be in attendance and punctual as scheduled
  • Be completely functional in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Candidate must be able to travel as required
