Onsemi is seeking a Mixed Signal CAD Engineer with experience in Cadence Virtuoso, Siemens Calibre, and programming skills in Python, Perl, TCL, Qt, C++, and Skill. You will influence EDA vendors' developments, establish new tools and methodologies, and support the Mixed Signal design community.

As part of the Central Engineering CAD department we are responsible for the evaluation, acquisition, development, integration and support of design tools and methodologies towards the world wide BU development teams. We are looking for a Mixed Signal CAD engineer having programming skills.

As part of the Central Engineering CAD department we are responsible for the evaluation, acquisition, development, integration and support of design tools and methodologies towards the world wide BU development teams. We are looking for a Mixed Signal CAD engineer having programming skills.
We are offering a position in our design center in Bangalore to:
Responsibilities
- Influence EDA vendors’ developments on the features, performance and quality of their digital design tools.
- Establish new tools and methodologies increasing the quality of onsemi’s products
- Continuously make proposition to improve EDA tools environment and methodologies in order to improve designer productivity and satisfaction level.
- Support the world wide Mixed Signal design community in using external EDA tools and internally developed scripts.
- Experience with Mixed Signal design tools using Cadence Virtuoso tools (layout, EAD, VSR)
- Experience in physical verification using Siemens Calibre tools (DRC, LVS, PEX, PERC)
- Programming skills using python, perl, TCL, Qt, C++, skill. Experience in Java is a plus.
- Experience with data management cliosoft is a plus.
- Team player, good communication skills, Problem solving and Analytical thinking, self-motivated and strong desire to succeed
Qualification and skills
- Possess BE/BTech/MS/MTech in Electronics/VLSI Engineering, Relevant experience of 2-4 years preferred
