About the Work

We are seeking a talented and analytical Mobile Games Economy Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of game economies, player behaviour, and monetization strategies. As a Mobile Games Economy Designer, you will be responsible for designing and balancing the economic systems within our games to ensure an engaging and rewarding player experience while optimizing revenue generation.

Who Should Apply

Proven experience as a Game Economy Designer or similar role, preferably with a focus on mobile games.

Strong understanding of game economy design principles, player psychology, and free-to-play mechanics.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, analytics platforms).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.

A portfolio showcasing your previous game economy design work.

Things you'll be doing

1) Economic System Design:

Develop and implement the in-game economy, including currency systems, progression mechanics, and reward structures.
Design and balance in-game items, resources, and pricing models to ensure a fair and engaging player experience.

2) Monetization Strategy:

Create and optimize monetization strategies, including in-app purchases, ads, and premium content.
Analyse and iterate on monetization features to maximize revenue without compromising player satisfaction.

3) Data Analysis & Optimization

Monitor and analyse player data to understand behaviour, spending patterns, and engagement.
Use data-driven insights to adjust and optimize the game economy and monetization strategies.

4) Collaboration

Work closely with game designers, developers, and artists to integrate economic systems seamlessly into the game.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide feedback on game features and design decisions from an economic perspective.

5) Player Experience

Ensure that the game economy enhances player engagement and retention.
Conduct playtests and gather feedback to refine economic systems and improve the overall player experience.
