Job Description

Nexters seeks a talented 3D Motion Designer to join their R&D creative team developing new game projects. Responsibilities include creating 3D videos for mobile game ads using Unity, setting up cameras, lighting, composition, and animation (Timeline, Animator Controller, Particle System), and optimizing/adapting 3D assets for videos. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of commercial game development experience (mobile preferred), 3+ years of Unity experience, proficiency in 3D software (Blender, Maya, etc.), and a strong understanding of animation principles. Experience with rigging, skinning, retargeting, camera setup, lighting, and composition is crucial. Additional skills like After Effects, VFX creation, UI animation, and experience with Unreal or Cinema 4D are beneficial.

Must Have:

2+ years commercial game dev experience (mobile preferred)
3+ years Unity experience (materials, VFX, export, rendering)

About your role
We want to strengthen our RnD creative team which develops new game projects with a talented 3D Motion Designer. If you love combining creativity and technology to make vibrant and impactful 3D videos for mobile games, this position is for you!
What you’ll be doing
Creating 3D videos for mobile game ads using Unity
Setting up cameras, lighting, composition, and animation (Timeline, Animator Controller, Particle System)
Optimizing and adapting ready-made 3D assets for videos
We hope that you have
At least 2 years of commercial experience in game development, preferably with mobile games
3+ years of experience with Unity, including setting up materials, VFX, exporting, and rendering
Proficiency in any 3D software package (Blender, Maya, etc.)
An understanding of classical animation principles and experience with rigging, skinning, and retargeting
Skills in setting up cameras, lighting, and composition for stunning videos
Nice to have
After Effects skills for post-processing
Experience creating VFX (Niagara, Unity Particle System)
Experience with UI animation (Canvas)
Experience with other tools (Unreal, Cinema 4D, etc.)
