We are seeking for a motion designer who can help us create Intuitive and smooth screen transitions, micro interactions and animating static illustrations, icons and logos. We believe motion can bring about delight and help with visual communication.
As a UX Motion Designer, you will be building the most delightful and intuitive user experiences for our users. You will be working with a team of passionate Product designers and be responsible for making the product experience smooth as butter, using the power of motion design.
What You Will Do
- Work closely with Product designers and developers to discuss the possible solutions for a problem
- Transform those ideas into production-ready solutions using UI transitions, micro-interactions, and character animations
- Work closely with the developers to implement those ideas as envisioned
- Help evangelize the significance of motion design across the team by engaging in discussions with other designers and stakeholders and promoting open discussions
- Work on new and experimental streams for motion design as and when they are needed
What You Will Need
- At least 2-3 year of experience working in motion design - creating Motion Graphics and UI Animations (Brownie points for 3d motion)
- A portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of micro-interactions, micro-animations, UI animations, and character animations
- Solid grasp of Adobe after effects Cinema 4D, or similar tools. Experience working with Lottie JSON animations
- A natural curiosity and interest in picking up and learning new tools and technologies in motion design
- Ability and willingness to work with Designers and Researchers to understand project requirements
- Strong command of visual and communication design principles
- Ability to tell stories with motion, and pitch them to stakeholders from different backgrounds
- A keen awareness of visual trends associated with entertainment, gaming, and particularly in mobile app spaces. Experience in designing for these industries would be good to have.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
