Motion Graphics Designer
At BCD Meetings & Events, our Production & Content team produces live, virtual and hybrid events, as well as a range of dynamic content that our clients use across live and digital channels. We love what we do. We hustle. We have fun. We take our work seriously. But not ourselves.
We are in the business of developing incredible content and storytelling, which is used in live and virtual events, and across other marketing channels on behalf of our clients. With a team of DPs, Editors, Motion and Graphic Designers, it is this team that brings creative visions to life for our wide range of customers.
Our Motion Graphic Designers work on dynamic and creative graphics for client work, working closely with our DPs/editors, creating original full motion graphic videos, concepting ideas, creating storyboards, pitching concepts and putting creative ideas into motion. We are a fast- moving agency that seeks a high level of creativity, organization, collaboration & teamwork, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and have fun while doing it.
We are looking for a skilled Motion Designer with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have intermediate to advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Photoshop + Illustrator, and Maxon Cinema 4D. This individual will be responsible for creating thoughtful design solutions, motion graphics, show packages, and more.

As a Motions Graphics Designer, You Will
- Conceptualize, design, and animate motion graphics for virtual and live events, corporate videos, and broadcast material.
- Reporting to the Art Director for project direction.
- Proven ability to work well within a collaborative team environment, while also being self- motivated and able to work independently when necessary.
- Working on both high level projects as well as simple supporting graphics.
- Develop style frames and storyboards that effectively communicate creative concepts and align with client expectations.
- Providing graphic support for editors (lower thirds, logo intros, special fx, etc.)
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, while adhering to project timelines and budgets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas, provide feedback, and interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, relevant software, and best practices in motion design, animation, and incorporate new techniques into projects when appropriate.
- Working late hours and weekends for tight deadlines and during peak seasons.
- This position is a hybrid position with 2-3 days a week required to be in office.
- Must have ability to work from home without interruption
- Must have high speed internet connection
- 5+ years of experience as a Motion Designer, agency environment preferred.
- Must show a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, and Maxon Cinema 4D.
- Extra points if you have experience creating 3D stage renderings and graphics.
- Shows us your specialty! AE Scripting, illustration, character or cell animation, 3D specialist?
- Extra points for video editing and story-telling skills.
- Ability to completely own high-level projects from start to finish.
- Strong design sense showcasing work that demonstrates design principles with a great eye for typography.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Client management and communication experience.
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
- Speed – be able to design quickly and efficiently when necessary.
- Follow specific direction both internal and client directed.
- Attention to detail, tell me what your favorite taco topping is.
- Bring a professional presence on video calls.
- Be a team player and willing to do any job necessary.
- Basic experience with PowerPoint and Keynote a plus.
- Degree in Graphic Design, Motion Design, or related field a plus but not required.

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Graphic Designer is between $55,000 - $75,000 The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
