Job Description
As a Multimedia & Motion Designer at Sword Health, you will develop creative concepts and bring them to life using editorial and motion graphics. Responsibilities include creating visually compelling brand stories, participating in brainstorming sessions, designing projects, estimating time, adhering to workflows, selecting audio and animation styles, and leading post-production. You'll work alongside a talented team to build a pain-free world. This role requires a strong understanding of design and animation principles, proficiency in Adobe software, and the ability to manage time and meet deadlines. Must also be able to uphold brand style guidelines.
Must have:
- 3+ years experience in animation and motion graphics.
- Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Great understanding of animation and design principles.
Good to have:
- Knowledge of tools such as Rive and Lottie.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

What you'll be doing:
- Help develop and bring creative concepts to life utilizing editorial and motion graphics skills;
- Work to tell visually compelling and engaging brand stories;
- Communicate clearly and in a timely manner with all members of the team;
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas;
- Design projects from scratch and expand upon existing packages;
- Provide accurate time estimates for each part of the process;
- Adhere to current processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and proposing and creating processes and tools to support design operations;
- Assist in selecting appropriate audio, graphic, and animation styles for the project;
- Institute and actively lead editing and post-production projects. This role is responsible for finalizing post production, including video editing when necessary;
- Demonstrate the ability to integrate into the video production team, finding where your talents can enhance any given project;
- Work with external suppliers who are producing video assets for us to ensure they are adhering to our brand guide and format guidelines.
What you need to have:
- You have a reel and online portfolio showcasing numerous examples of current up-to-date work;
- Minimum three years experience animating and creating motion graphics;
- Great understanding of animation principles and design principles;
- Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop;
- Knowledge of tools such as Rive and Lottie allowing integration of motion graphics to enhance Digital Experiences;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to comprehend and uphold brand style guidelines, producing work of a suitable style;
- Ability to solve an array of challenges through visual design;
- Must be able to mediate creative problems to arrive at the best solution;
- Manage time effectively, ability to multitask and meet deadlines;
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
