As a Multinational Incoming Client Executive at Marsh Belux, you will provide advisory and insurance solutions for international clients with headquarters in Belgium. Responsibilities include acquiring and retaining customers, reviewing insurance portfolios, developing and recommending solutions, tendering and negotiating with insurers, advising clients, managing insurance programs, and handling claims. You will also be the central point of contact for client inquiries and delegates to appropriate colleagues.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, insurance, or risk.
  • Professional experience in risk or insurance management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full professional proficiency in English, Dutch and/or French.
  • Experience in BtoB business and high-performance environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Multinational team at Marsh Belux. This role will be based in Brussels (or Ghent or Antwerp) This is a hybrid role.

As a Multinational Incoming Client Executive, you will provide advisory and insurance solutions for our international clients with a headquarter in Belgium. You will be part of a global community sharing best practices and providing real-time insights and thought leadership on emerging trends with a clear vision of our customers’ business objectives. You will work in collaboration with client owners, insurer partners, an advisory community and managing a dedicated portfolio of clients.

We will count on you to:

  • Acquire and retain new customers and plan sales expectations.

  • As first personal contact for new clients, you will review the insurance portfolio and identify gaps in the insurance cover for the customer.

  • Develop solutions to improve the customer's insurance cover and make direct recommendations.

  • When implementing new business, you will also carry out the tendering and negotiation with insurers in certain areas, including the preparation of offers and presentation of these to clients.

  • Advise and support our clients and network partners in all matters relating to company insurance.

  • Implement and support the incoming international insurance programs of the international holding company as well as the local insurance contracts of our customers.

  • You are the central point of contact in the event of a claim and are responsible for forwarding it to the claims team and ensuring that the claim is checked and correspondence with the customer is handled.

  • Manage the full range of insurance purchasing required by the client from requesting offers to inputting the policy conditions into different management systems.

  • Keep tabs on the development of the technical aspects of the policies.

  • Stay on top of Market trends and product developments.

  • You are the client contact for all general questions and delegates specific questions to the concerned colleagues.

What you need to have: 

  • Hold at minimum a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in economics, finance, insurance or risk.

  • Preferably professional experience in risk or (multinational) insurance management or account management.

  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing. Full professional proficiency in English, Dutch and/or French is required to strengthen the sales and client relationship experience.

  • You are experienced in "BtoB" business and can operate in a high-performance environment.

  • You find your way around Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
