A leading Australian bank has engaged and we are seeking an experienced Murex Datamart SME with extensive financial markets exposure. Key responsibilities include providing expertise in Datamart with strong scripting and optimization skills for SEOD and batches, and acting as a tech lead to guide and mentor the bank's junior consultants and other vendor contingent staff.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills and effective collaboration with both onshore and offshore teams. If you have a proven track record in these areas and are excited about contributing to the technical infrastructure of a leading Australian bank.
The successful candidate will be part of a project team extending the current application scope. Main focus will be on credit risk reporting in Murex.
Analyze, design, and configure Murex Datamart implementation.
Configure risk, transaction, compliance, PL, cash flow, etc. reports.
Work on Change Request and enhancements
Optimize reports
Coordinate with business on requirement
Document Functional, Technical Specifications and Test Cases for integration
Come up with design and build documents
Manage stakeholders from IT and business
Must have
12+ years of relevant experience
Provide technical leadership, guiding and mentoring junior consultants and other vendor contingent staff.
Possess very strong Datamart skills with expertise in scripting and optimization for SEOD (Start of Day) and batches.
Technical Skills:
Advanced SQL skills.
Experience with Murex Datamart, including:
Dynamic tables
BoF (Basis of Facts)
BoE (Basis of Estimates)
Scanner templates
Expertise in configuring and optimizing reports for risk, transaction, compliance, P&L, cash flow, etc.
Unix proficiency.
Technical solution design experience and start-to-end solution ownership.
Additional Skills:
MxML exposure is an added advantage.
Good understanding of financial markets, covering different asset classes.
