Job Description

The Murex Front Office Support Consultant will be part of Group Technology and Operations (T&O), supporting the bank's infrastructure. Responsibilities include analyzing user requirements, test execution, preparing functional specifications, working with developers, creating and executing test cases (deal booking, events simulation in SIT, UAT), and working on e-trade pad development, simulation viewer, strategy builder, and Livebook. The role requires close collaboration with project managers, developers, business users, and external vendors. Strong Murex front-office module knowledge, including GOM, trade lifecycle management, pre-trade debugging, and SQL/Unix scripting is essential. The consultant will also handle front-office booking issues, PNL mismatches, and support Murex functional modules independently.

Must have:

4-9 years Murex Front Office support
Murex application knowledge
Simulation, pre-trade debugging
e-trade pad, GOM, PNL, PLVA
SQL, Unix Shell scripting, Linux
Strong debugging knowledge
Able to write SQL code
Knowledge of MSL, access rights
Portfolio tree, e-trade pad, Simulation

Good to have:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability, and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

Murex-related Responsibility:

Analyze user requirements and assist in test execution

Work will also include preparing the functional specifications, working closely with the developer team on assistance, and preparing the test cases and executing it (eg: deal booking, performing events as per user requirements in SIT, UAT).

Expected to work on e-trade pad development, simulation viewer, strategy builder, Livebook

The candidate is expected to work closely and communicate effectively and independently with project managers, developers, and business users, as well as external vendors.

Skills

Must have

4 to 9 years (Looking for L2 support) Supporting Murex front office module and Knowledge in Murex application, Simulation, pre-trade debugging, simulation, e-trade pad, GOM, PNL, PLVA, SQL, Unix Shell scripting, Linux

Strong knowledge of Murex front office Module

Good understanding of GOM module, trade lifecycle

Able to handle front-office booking issues

Strong debugging knowledge of pre-trade rules and debugging

Able to write SQL code

Strong knowledge of MSL, access rights, portfolio tree, e-trade pad, and Simulation

Have to work on simulation / PNL mismatch issues

Able to support Murex functional module independently.

Nice to have

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills accompanied by excellent communication
