A large bank in Saudi Arabia seeks a Murex MXML Migration Lead Developer for a greenfield implementation project. Responsibilities include developing MXML import/export workflows using MXML Exchange, demonstrating a strong understanding of Murex 3.1 workflows (trade, contract, exchange), and in-depth experience in Murex workflow development encompassing the entire trade lifecycle. The role requires expertise in creating system interfaces, confirmation generation, error management, and OSP. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and technical skills and the ability to suggest improvements to existing solutions. Familiarity with various trade interfaces (MarkitWire, TOF, OMGEO, RTNS), market data upload (RTBS, MDIT), and messaging queues (MQ) is crucial. Experience with UNIX Shell scripting and an understanding of the front-to-back trade lifecycle for FX, IR, FI, and Equity products are essential.
Must have:
  • 7-9 years Murex migration experience
  • MXML 3.1 proficiency (XML/XSLT)
  • MXML import/export workflow development
  • Swift and Paper confirmation
  • Trade interface knowledge (MarkitWire, etc.)
  • Market data upload (RTBS, MDIT)
  • Messaging queue (MQ) experience
  • Contract/Deliverable/Event/Exchange workflow
  • UNIX Shell scripting
  • Front-to-back trade lifecycle understanding

Project description

Large Bank in Saudi is looking a migration lead for its Murex greenfield implementation project.

Responsibilities

Develop MXML import and export workflows using MXML Exchange.

Good understanding of Murex 3.1 workflow and MxML, familiar with trade workflow, contract workflow, exchange workflow etc.

In-depth experience in Murex workflow development involving trade life cycle, creating new system interface workflow, confirmation generation, error management, OSP, etc

Good ability to suggest improvements in existing solutions. analytic and technical skills

Skills

Must have

Minimum 7-9 experience in Murex migration projects.

MXML 3.1, with proficiency in XML/XST languages, Data Dictionaries, Templates.

Develop MXML import and export workflows using MXML Exchange.

Swift and Paper confirmation.

Familiar with various popular trade interfaces like MarkitWire, TOF, OMGEO, RTNS.

Knowledge of Market Data upload. Realtime ( RTBS ), Batch ( MDIT )

Technical knowledge in creating messaging Queues ( MQ ),

Experience working on Contract/ Deliverable / Event / Exchange workflow

UNIX Shell scripting

Understanding of Front to back Trade Life Cycle

Familiarity with FX, IR, FI, Equity products

Nice to have

Good communication

Murex 3.1 Architecture is an added advantage

Experience in JAVA, Perl
