Job Description

This role is with a core testing team supporting a large Murex migration project. The Automation testing team focuses on innovating and automating Murex test cases to accelerate project execution. Responsibilities include developing MxTest automation scripts, executing these scripts, and automating reusable test cases for regression testing. The candidate will accelerate testing processes through automation, regression and performance testing, and creating stubs for Murex and related applications. They will showcase test execution, contribute to automation statistics and reports, and possess strong Murex back-office functional testing expertise, along with experience in at least one other Murex module (Front Office, Integration, Accounting, or Datamart Reporting). Understanding of front, middle, and back-office operations, finance, and accounting within a financial services organization is crucial, including experience with report comparison tools. Collaboration with technical leads, project managers, and business analysts is expected.

Must have:

7-12 years total experience
3+ years Murex experience
2+ years Murex 3.1 experience
2+ years Onyx/MxTest automation
Murex Back Office functional testing
Experience with at least one other Murex module
Understanding of financial operations

Good to have:

Murex Performance testing

Project description

The role is with our core Testing team, which is supporting a big Migration Project. The role is part of the Automation testing team which aims to bring innovation and automation of Murex Test cases to accelerate the project execution.

Responsibilities

Techno Functional Back Office work

Developing MxTest automation scripts for the Murex project

Execution of MxTest scripts

As part of the project we are looking to automate the test cases which can be reused for regression testing

You are expected to help accelerate the testing processes by automating test cases, performing regression and performance tests, and creating stubs to support various testing around Murex and surrounding applications

You should be able to showcase the test execution and help in automation stats and automation report preparations

Skills

Must have

Total Experience 7 to 12+ Years

Murex Experience 3+ Years

Murex 3.1 experience 2+ Years

Automation experience with Onyx/MxTest experience of 2+ Years

Murex functional testing experience on Back Office is a must. Outside of BO, experience on at least 1 other Murex module is expected: Front Office, Integration, Accounting, and Datamart Reporting

Understanding of the bank's front, middle, and back office operations, finance, and accounting. Experience and management of at least one Front to Back implementation within a financial services organization

Experience working with report comparison tools and outputs

Experience in working directly with Technical leads, project managers, and Business Analysts in business and IT organization

Experience in the execution of tests throughout the lifecycle of development projects
