Job Description

As a Navy Field Sales Representative, you'll inspire leading Government organizations to use Google tools like Workspace, GCP, and GDCH. You'll drive more effective and efficient ways for these organizations to serve their global customer base. Responsibilities include developing a plan for broad account engagement, creating a business strategy aligned with Google's Public Sector Cloud strategy, collaborating with the larger Google Public Sector team on account strategy, and working to grow bookings and business. You will manage and close a large list of opportunities to drive new business. This role requires inspiring innovation and a customer mission focus to leverage Google tools at scale.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years quota-carrying cloud/software sales experience
  • C-level engagement and sales experience
  • Government technology sales experience
  • Active US Government Secret Security Clearance
Good to have:
  • Experience with commercial/legal agreements
  • DOD buying practices knowledge
  • Data center/cloud, security, networking, or SaaS understanding
  • Territory business plan creation & implementation skills
  • Cross-functional teamwork and relationship building

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company.
  • Experience engaging with accounts, selling a portfolio of products at C-level.
  • Experience in government technology sales.
  • Active US Government Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with commercial and legal agreements, working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense (DOD) buying practices.
  • Understanding of data center/cloud, security, networking, or SaaS.
  • Ability to plan, pitch, and implement a territory business plan.
  • Ability to build relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional environment.

As a Navy Field Sales Representative, you will inspire leading organizations in Government to work smarter with Google tools like Workspace, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Distributed Cloud Hosted (GDCH). You will drive more effective and efficient ways for these organizations to better serve their global customer base. You will provide a large list of opportunities to manage, track and close to help drive new bookings and business.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $77,000-$110,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Generate a plan to ensure broad account engagement with accounts within the territory.
  • Develop and provide a business strategy connected to the company mission that aligns to the Google Public Sector Cloud strategy.
  • Gather and direct the larger Google Public Sector team to assist with the account strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to grow the business both in booking and business.
