Our Amsterdam Office is KRAFTON’s EMEA Headquarters which covers the Europe, Middle East & Africa, and the CIS regions, with teams dedicated to Publishing, Esports, Content, Communications and General Operations. These teams support all local offices and development studios in our region.

Onsite, our Amsterdam Office also houses PUBG Studios which is busy with the development of an exciting new IP, currently known as Project “Black Budget”.

 

The position of Network Administrator will work within the IT team to provide specialist skills for maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting backend network hardware as well as core server infrastructure in our Amsterdam office, often working together with the head office in Korea.

 

Basic Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in critical networking infrastructure, taking full ownership of the hardware.
  • Be the primary point of contact for troubleshooting networking-related issues.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and diagrams of existing infrastructure as well as be able to scope and plan any enhancements, upgrades or changes.
  • Enhance existing monitoring and logging capabilities from network hardware.
  • Assist in the maintenance of core server infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  • Analyzing, assessing, and making recommendations on network security risks in collaboration with the IT Manager.

 

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in a network or systems administration role.
  • Exposure to Palo Alto and Cisco network hardware.
  • Previous experience in maintaining relationships with hardware and license vendors and suppliers.

 

Required Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of network technologies – routing & switching protocols, firewall rules, VPN connections, network architecture & cabling.
  • Excellent communication skills and English fluency are required.
  • Able to work in an environment with rapidly evolving requirements and frequent fast turnarounds on results.
  • Working with and mentoring junior colleagues, while also maintaining a high level of autonomy.
  • Be goal-oriented and driven.
  • Proactive use of network monitoring systems.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of core Windows network technologies (DNS, DHCP, etc.)

 

“Nice to have” experience:

  • A broad base of IT experience.
  • Video game publishing or development experience.
  • Previous role working with overseas hubs, in a diverse and multicultural business environment
  • Experience with Netbox, Zabbix, Jira & Confluence, Grafana/ELK.
