About the Team ByteDance Networking brings together innovative ideas and technologies from network architecture, software-defined networking, network virtualisation, switch software and hardware co-design, and high-speed networking, to create hyperscale data-center networking solutions that power several of the most popular apps in the world, such as Douyin and TikTok, which serve hundreds of millions of users around the globe. ByteDance Networking is responsible for designing, building, and operating the global, intelligent network infrastructure to meet the requirements of high availability, scalability, and high-performance. By joining this team, you will gain marketable software development and/or network operation experience in data center networking on a massive scale. Responsibilities: - Manage network resources, such as hardware or service vendors, and conduct strategy analysis to achieve high availability. - Manage network budgets for the business, such as cost analysis and reporting, business coordination, budget presentation, etc. - Build efficient finance operations and processes by improving existing systems or building new processes. - Overseeing budgetary management related to critical network resource planning to ensure business demands are fulfilled and efficient resource usage rates. - Ensure effective partnership with internal and external stakeholders, such as the supply chain teams or datacenter development teams, to build effective and sustainable deliverables. - Execute ad-hoc project analysis to present insights for business actions

Qualifications: - Bachelor degree or above, majoring in financial management or engineering. - More than 3 years of experience in ISP or OTT companies and worked on infrastructure cost analysis. - Have good analytical, research and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, organization and coordination skills, and rich experience in cross-team cooperation. - Strong self-starter with the ability to fully implement mission-critical processes - Able to multi-task, prioritize projects and meet tight deadlines Preferred Qualifications: - Proficient in one of the programming languages like Python or Shell for data analytical work. - 1 year experience in optimizing or designing new and existing processes ByteDance is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
