Job Description

This role involves managing the entire sales cycle for new business acquisition at Google Customer Solutions, from initial contact to post-sale relationship management. Responsibilities include prospecting and building a strong pipeline of new clients, collaborating with internal teams, and securing business agreements through various sales techniques (outbound prospecting, cold calling, consulting, pitching, etc.). The successful candidate will consult with clients to define and achieve their online marketing and business goals, leveraging the full range of Google's marketing solutions (YouTube, Google Search, Shopping, Display Network, App Promotion). Fluency in English and Italian is crucial for managing client relationships in the specified region. A strong understanding of the online advertising industry and local market is also essential.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in new business sales and exceeding quota attainment.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Italian fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in planning, delivering and executing marketing campaigns, measurement and creative strategy.
  • Experience in building a pipeline from scratch through and tactical focus and execution.
  • Understanding of the online advertising industry and knowledge of the local market with insights in both digital and traditional media.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to think strategically about issues and develop recommendations and action plans.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to pitch comprehensive advertising solutions for all clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the business cycle as a sales professional for the new business acquisition from early stages to closing the customers and managing the relationship after closure to ensure the customer satisfaction, performance, and promotion opportunities.
  • Prospect and build a robust pipeline of new business by identifying and initiating relationships with new clients, working in close partnership with our Sales Development, Onboarding, Agency and Marketing teams.
  • Acquire business agreements through outbound prospecting, cold calling, consulting, educating, pitching, closing, and relationship management.
  • Consult with clients to achieve domestic and export online marketing and business goals, utilizing the full suite of Google’s marketing solutions (e.g., YouTube, Google Search and Shopping, Google Display Network, App Promotion).
