Job Description

Smilegate Entertainment seeks an experienced Cinematic Director for their Next Crossfire project. Responsibilities encompass the creation of in-game videos (item showcases, cutscenes, trailers), utilizing Unreal Engine 3 & 5 for cinematic production and camera direction. The role requires concept planning, storyboarding, and crafting visually compelling scenes using character and environment assets. Experience with video editing software (Premiere, After Effects) and a strong understanding of lighting, shaders, and VFX are crucial. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in game cinematic direction, mastery of Unreal Engine's cinematic tools, and exceptional storytelling abilities through camera work and editing.

Must have:

3+ years experience in game cinematic direction
Unreal Engine 3 & 5 cinematic tools expertise
Animation & motion capture data experience
Gameplay recording & video production skills
Premiere & After Effects proficiency

Good to have:

Unreal Engine 5's latest tech (Lumen, Nanite)
Unreal Engine 3 project experience
AAA game trailer/cinematic experience
FPS project experience & gameplay recording
Maya, C4D 3D tool experience

담당업무

- 게임 내 영상 연출 및 제작 (아이템 소개 영상, 컷씬, 트레일러, 인게임 등) - 언리얼 엔진 3 및 5 기반의 시네마틱 및 카메라 연출 - 콘셉트 기획 및 스토리보드 작업을 통한 시각적 방향성 수립 - 캐릭터 및 환경 빌드을 활용한 감각적인 장면 구성 - 트레일러 및 마케팅 영상 제작

자격요건

- 게임 영상 및 시네마틱 연출 관련 3년 이상 경력 - 언리얼 엔진 3 및 5의 시네마틱 툴 (Matinee & Sequencer) 활용 경험 - 애니메이션 및 모션 캡처 데이터 활용 경험 - 게임 플레이 촬영 및 이를 활용한 영상 제작 경험

필요역량

- 무빙 카메라에 대한 이해와 다양한 스타일로의 적용 능력 - 컷 구성 및 편집을 활용한 스토리 전달 능력 - 고품질의 카메라 연출 및 씬 레이아웃 구성 능력 - Premiere 및 After Effects를 이용한 편집 능력 - 라이팅, 셰이더, VFX 기초 지식 및 활용 능력 - 원활한 협업 및 커뮤니케이션 능력

우대사항

- 언리얼 엔진 5의 최신 기술 (Lumen, Nanite 등) 활용 경험 - 언리얼 엔진 3 기반 프로젝트 경험 보유 - AAA급 게임 트레일러 또는 시네마틱 연출 경험 - FPS 프로젝트 경험 및 게임플레이 촬영 가능자 - After Effects 등의 후반 합성 툴 활용 가능자 - Maya, C4D 등의 3D 툴 활용 가능자
