Job Description

As an Observability Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the observability infrastructure and pipelines to support the development teams. This includes working with observability tools, software management, system troubleshooting and problem-solving. You'll also be involved in scripting, automation, and ensuring high availability and performance. The role requires a strong understanding of observability principles and experience with version control systems and infrastructure-as-code tools. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Must have:

Linux administration skills
Understanding observability (tracing, logging, monitoring)
Scripting and automation skills
Experience with Git
Experience with Terraform, Ansible
Experience with ELK, VictoriaMetrics/Prometheus, PagerDuty, Opentelemetry
English communication skills (writing and reading)

Good to have:

Coding skills on Python or Go
Development of large software systems
Experience with Docker
Experience with k8s
Experience with CI/CD tools
Cloud experience (AWS, Azure)

We are looking for a highly skilled Observability Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work with advanced observability tools, maintaining and developing robust observability infrastructure and pipelines to support our development teams.

Your tasks will include:

Working with observability tools, maintaining and developing observability infrastructure and pipelines for development teams
Software management and orchestration (ELK, VictoriaMetrics, PagerDuty, Opentelemetry, Grafana etc)
System troubleshooting and problem-solving across applications

What we expect from you:

Linux administration skills
Understanding observability (tracing, logging, monitoring)
Scripting and automation skills
Solid understanding and experience working with high availability, high performance, multi-data center systems
Strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resources
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Experience with Terraform, Ansible
Experience with ELK, VictoriaMetrics/Prometheus, PagerDuty, Opentelemetry
English communication skills (writing and reading)

Will be an advantage:
