Axi is seeking an Onboarding Specialist who will be responsible for facilitating a seamless onboarding journey for clients. This role involves meticulous adherence to compliance and exceptional service to strengthen Axi's market position. The specialist will create a lasting impression, demonstrating a deep understanding of clients, aligning with the Axi CX mission. Key responsibilities include executing Know Your Customer (KYC) processes and continuous due diligence in compliance with multiple regulatory standards, analyzing and investigating alerts, promoting global onboarding knowledge and compliance standards with a client-focused mindset, identifying, recording, and resolving/escalating suspicious findings, maintaining confidentiality, complying with policies and procedures, and participating in training. The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to develop due diligence processes, participating in projects, overseeing trading and rebate account creation and management, staying updated on industry trends, and providing direct client assistance for onboarding concerns. The goal is to meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Must have:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as KYC/Onboarding Specialist
  • Proven ability to manage intricate onboarding processes
  • Extensive knowledge of KYC, AML, and compliance legislation
  • Fluency in English and Arabic
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities
  • Effective problem-solving skills

As an Onboarding Specialist at Axi, you will be instrumental in facilitating our clients’ seamless onboarding journey. Your work will help to ensure that every interaction a client has with Axi reinforces this mission, from their first contact with us through their entire journey as an Axi client. Your EDGE assignment/You will:

  • Responsible for executing Know Your Customer (KYC) processes and continuous due diligence in compliance with multiple regulatory standards for both potential and current client and partner accounts.
  • Analyse and investigate alerts that are generated using standard policies, procedures and tools, aimed at meeting internal and external regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a high degree of global onboarding knowledge and compliance standards with a client-focused mindset.
  • Identify, record and resolve/escalate suspicious findings following well-established escalation and reporting obligations.
  • Maintain user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. 
  • Comply with all policies, guidelines, and procedures, and actively participate in training to stay abreast of the evolving competitive and regulatory environment. 
  • Work collaboratively & cohesively with key stakeholders to identify, action and develop due diligence processes that contribute to operational efficiency and personalized client experience. 
  • Proactively participate in assigned projects that promote client value, operational efficiency, and innovation.
  • Oversee the creation and management of trading and rebate accounts.
  • Stay up to date on the latest industry trends and technologies related to onboarding processes and share insights and recommendations with the broader team. 
  • Provide direct assistance to clients and partners for any concerns related to onboarding.
  • Strive to meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Are you the one?

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a KYC/Onboarding Specialist, preferably in the financial services industry, particularly Forex, CFDs, or other leveraged products. 
  • Proven ability to manage intricate onboarding processes in compliance with regulations. 
  • Extensive knowledge about KYC, AML, and relevant compliance legislations. 
  • Fluency in English and Arabic (both verbal and written) is required to communicate effectively with Urdu-speaking clients
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and prioritization abilities. 
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure. 
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in MS Office and related software. 
  • Proficient in digital technologies with the ability to adapt and stay current with market technology trends, including AI and other tools pertinent to Onboarding tasks.
