About Global Payment The Global Payment team of Bytedance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on various ByteDance platforms including TikTok. About the team Our Customer Service team in Global Payment is committed to deliver the best-in-class support on all payment related inquiries to our merchants who are responsible for end user's experience. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in from May 2025 onwards. Internships at ByteDance aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Successful candidates must be able to commit to the following internship cycles below: Malaysia Off cycle - May to October, 2025 (Full Time) Candidates can apply to a maximum of two positions and will be considered for jobs in the order you apply. Responsibilities: - Customer Support: Provide best in class back-office support to the frontline customer service team by addressing payment related inquiries and concerns. - Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies on payin and payout and other transaction-related issues. - Collaboration: Partner with cross functional teams, including key merchants, Technical Support, Compliance, Risk to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively. - Reporting: Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to payment operations and perform analysis for operational improvement. - Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements in all payment-related activities. - Support special projects and initiatives as needed.

Minimum Qualification: - Final year undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Communications, Accounting, Economics or a related field. - Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications: - Relevant experience in payment industry - Customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service. - Prior experience in customer service or the payments industry is a plus.
