We’re hiring an Operations Specialist to join our SRE Operations team. This team is responsible for leading production incidents from start to resolution and collecting incident data. In this role, you will monitor different components, provide alarm surveillance, and take corrective actions as necessary or escalate to Engineering Teams. You’ll work with multiple global teams on troubleshooting and fixing issues and production incidents to ensure a world-class customer experience and product stability.
Ensure the constant availability and uninterruptible operation of our multi-service environment and customer activities.
Provide vigilant alarm surveillance, swiftly troubleshoot issues, and resolve incoming system alerts.
Work closely with various departments to monitor service performance and escalate alerts when necessary.
Demonstrate situational influence across the team to promote ideas and drive progress.
Proactively initiate the incident management process in response to critical alerts.
Work on 8-hour shifts 24/7 including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong understanding of service monitoring using specific tools (DataDog, Grafana, Kibana, PagerDuty).
Experience with Atlassian Stack including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
Understanding of Windows and Linux server environments, Nginx, VMware, Jenkins, Kubernetes, CDN, DNS, and networking concepts.
Analytical thinking and proactive attitude to anticipate and solve problems.
A team-oriented mindset with strong verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English
Secondary education is required with further technical qualifications being a plus.
