- Collaborate, and lead when necessary, in a team environment with Process Engineering technicians, technologists, engineers and team members in Hyderabad Engineering Center.
- Learn and work with a number of digital tools such as ProjectWise, SEIGA, SharePoint, AIM, Microstation, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
- Design, generate and occasionally draft P&IDs in Microstation and AutoCad
- Convert and translate conceptual level PFDs into P&IDs as projects progress in level of engineering detail
- Interpret project team redlines and communicate needed changes to drafting resources via written, verbal and graphic communication
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Corporate P&ID and CADD standards
- Support in the teaching and development of Corporate P&ID classes and training
- Generate improvement ideas and designs; mentor others as needed
- Support and contribute to Worldwide Engineering and Construction and Process Engineering Department initiatives by mentoring, leading and serving a team advisor
- Must complete all assigned duties in a safe manner
- Associate's degree in a related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Significant relevant experience (7+ years) may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in field verifying P&IDs
- Ability to develop and use customized settings in Microstation and/or AutoCAD
- Understanding of mechanical, piping and electrical design and basic construction principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Interaction with partners in Hyderabad Engineering Center occurs frequently.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, including the ability to coordinate multi-person and location/time-zone teams
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Willingness to travel on occasion (10% or less)
