Haleon is a manufacturing site for liquid, solid, and semi-solid health products, with complex regulatory factors, technical processes, and high-risk activities. Haleon is currently looking for a Packaging Technical Expert to join the Montreal (Saint-Laurent) team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support and improve packaging processes for current or new products (Liquids / Semi-Liquids / Solids) to meet quality, compliance, and commercial needs.
• Validate packaging processes for new and existing products.
• Represent technical services (packaging and liquid manufacturing) in operational production follow-up meetings.
• Provide technical support and resolve problems related to product packaging.
• Develop, review, and approve master packaging documents.
• Qualify new packaging components and establish their specifications.
• Participate in product launch, technology transfer, continuous improvement, product reformulation projects, etc.
• Manage and coordinate new product launch projects (line extension)

Basic Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must be bilingual, hold:

• Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering with ideally 5 years of relevant experience related to packaging processes for pharmaceutical products, healthcare products, and/or food products.
• Possess excellent affinity with computer systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of packaging processes. Knowledge of formulas and manufacturing processes is a plus;
• Good knowledge of GMP - Good Manufacturing Practices;
• Understanding of pharmaceutical product packaging operations;
• Good interpersonal, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Must be able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects at the same time.
